Want to lose weight? Go on a diet...of the stone age!

Scientists from Sweden (umeå University) together with their foreign colleagues from Cambridge found that the so-called "stone age diet" or Paleolithic diet is a very effective way to get rid of extra pounds. Experiments and surveys among the population of Sweden showed that fat women, adhering to this diet, as a result, dropped much more overweight, unlike other people who preferred "the Scandinavian diet". This is written in detail in The Telegraph. Moreover, the Paleolithic diet reduces the waist, giving the body slimness.

70 women participated In the experiment. According to the results of the study, using "ancient diet" women lost an average of 6 kilograms, but the Scandinavian diet helped to get rid of only 2.5 kilograms. Paleolithic diet includes berries, vegetables, fruits, fish, whole grains and beans, low-fat cottage cheese and sour cream, vegetable oils, and chicken. It is forbidden to eat bread, rice, milk and fatty dairy products. This diet, as doctors and nutritionists assure, also reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks.
