4. do Not include sweeteners in your diet and do not indulge in sweets. Otherwise you risk to provoke the failure of the diet.

Important! The diet of Protasov is not recommended for gastritis, chronic pancreatitis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.

The First period of diet

The First period of the diet lasts 14 days. At this time, it is allowed to consume any non-starchy and low-starchy vegetables in unlimited quantities. These include cucumbers, cabbage, asparagus, eggplant, pepper, etc. Vegetables are best eaten raw. Sometimes you can afford steaming or baking in the oven.

In addition to vegetables are allowed to eat:

  • low-Fat dairy products;
  • Greens (parsley, dill, celery and etc.);
  • Boiled egg (in day not more one);
  • Unsweetened Apple (a day not more than three).

Sample menu

Breakfast: grain cottage cheese with lemon juice and grated Apple + Cup of tea.

Lunch: cooked in the oven sweet pepper, stuffed with egg and garlic + vegetable salad, seasoned with natural yogurt + a glass of carrot juice.

Dinner: salad of cucumbers, zucchini and sweet pepper, seasoned with lemon juice + a glass of kefir.

Second period of diet

After the dairy and vegetable period, lean fish and lean meat are added to the menu. These products can be cooked, baked in the oven, steamed or grilled. This period lasts three weeks.

Sample menu

Breakfast: steamed omelet with vegetables + one green Apple + tea.

Lunch: Turkey souffle + oven-baked Apple stuffed with cottage cheese and seasoned cinnamon + a glass of kefir.

Dinner: vegetable soup with herbs + natural yogurt.

Out of the diet takes about seven weeks. The slower you go out of the diet, the higher your chances that the result will please you for many months.

In the first week it is recommended to add to the diet whole grain porridge, cooked on water, nuts and a small amount of vegetable oil. From the second week it is allowed to eat any fruit. Then you can add dried fruits, kissels without sugar and homemade compotes to the diet. Bread, mushrooms and fried meat are the last things allowed.
