Indeed, oatmeal contains almost a complete set of essential substances for our body: phosphorus, calcium and iron, useful for the bone and circulatory system; vitamins A and E, antioxidants that increase immunity, as well as b vitamins that normalize the digestive process.

Due to high carbohydrate oatmeal improves brain function, adds strength and improves mood. But it is not necessary to cook oatmeal every morning. From oatmeal you can prepare a great variety of different and incredibly delicious dishes. For example, a casserole with fruit or berries.

To prepare 6-8 servings you will need:

500-600 grams of Hercules
60 grams of oat bran
60 grams of crushed oatmeal cereals
2 teaspoons baking powder
0.5 teaspoon of salt
0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
450 ml of milk
1 beaten egg
75 grams of applesauce
50-60 ml of vegetable oil
50-60 grams of granulated sugar
50-60 grams of brown sugar
450 grams of fresh fruit (e.g. peeled pears or apples with a removed core) or berries (e.g. chopped strawberries or blueberries)
Vanilla yogurt or yogurt without additives with low fat, or milk, or cream

1. Preheat oven to 200°C. In a large Cup mix Hercules, bran, crushed oatmeal, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
2. In a medium-sized Cup, combine milk, egg, applesauce, vegetable oil, sugar, and brown sugar. Pour into the oat mixture and mix thoroughly. Put the resulting mixture in a slightly greased baking dish (volume of about 2 liters).
3. Bake without closing for 20 minutes, then stir and carefully add the fruit. Bake for another 20 minutes or until top lightly browns. Put a spoon on the plates. Serve by watering with yogurt, milk or cream.
